Feel happiness in helping others

Wherever, whatever and whenever you are, keep helping others.
Never postpone it.
Do it always.

No such thing that you can help only when you are rich  or when you are  old.

Many people  think  that opportunity should present itself for helping others.

Few examples to understand the methods to help others.
- when you travel in a bus or train, stand up and allow the old and unhealthy persons to sit in your seats.
- donate to the needy and orphaned people when you celebrate your special days of life.
- contribute to the emergency funds in times of natural calamities.

Pleasure from helping others is satisfying and long lasting.
It induces to do more such acts.
It always feels great and better when you help others voluntarily.

One Swallow doesn't make a Summer

This is the old saying which holds good for ever.

But the appearance of a swallow can be an indicator of the immediate onset of summer. Possibility is there that the bird has by mistake passed thorough your place.

Something that you say which means because one good thing has happened, you cannot therefore be certain that more good things will happen and the whole situation will improve.

When a Smuggler makes a donation to a temple, it doesn't mean that he has changed entirely.
Only time has to confirm this.

So better judge a thing or a person only after several interactions or after watching the recurrence of an event.

Don't jump to a conclusion and end up in feeling sorry later.

Character Makes

Speaking loudly about people that lived with unassailable discipline should be the courage of books.

Listing the pride of such people likens the accounting of people who were born and died so far.

Exercise of control over senses leads to godliness and bliss.
Unbiased interest makes peace and happiness.

Rain

Rain is the ambrosia of earth : it forms the source of life by enabling food production and serving as food drink.

If it fails, life starves even though earth is surrounded by oceans .
Even a grass straw does not rise.
Even the life of ocean suffers.
Even the prayers to God cease.
Even sanctity gets erased.
Total disorder prevails.

So let us appreciate the value of rain and preserve the precious water for life to prosper on earth.

God

When you understand and surrender to the Selfless God , you need not worry about your self. He takes care of everything of you. But remain faithful and devotional unto Him.

You would never feel the sorrows of life ; instead construe them to be the effects of God to test and prepare you for greater happiness.
Like rains gladdening  the souls of parched lands.
Like farmer reaping the harvest after a long wait and toil.

Like Blind Eyes , Dumb mouth,etc..your head becomes useless  if it doesn't bow before God.

Faith in Nature is belief in God only.

Dedication in service to the fellow beings is actually the service to God.
Only with unfailing faith in Almighty ,one can surpass the vicious cycle of life and death.

Sadism

Some people get a thrill from cheating or misbehaving with others. Here I mean those who do it regularly.Such people feel a sense of power and superiority over others. They never feel sorry for what they do. This sort of attitude can be termed as Hardcore Sadism.

But there are some people who tend to be dishonest and unethical for a temporary period. Such persons feel guilty afterwards. This behaviour can be called as Superficial Sadism. Take for instance the case of a Rich person pampering the Government for satisfying selfish motive of prompting his business but at the cost of the society.

God reaches you

Prayers make you go closer to God.

But when you do service to others, God comes closer to you.

Service here refers to any type of assistance renderd.
It can be in the form of giving funds or providing the materials like cloth, food, medicine,etc....
Even it can be the soothing words and prayers wishing the welfare .

Service to others means such service made to all kinds of life on this earth.
Share your wealth and health for serving Humans, Animals and Insects.
Hinduism has gone a step further to say "Feed the departed souls and ancestors by practising rituals ".

Therefore remember " Service to Others is service to God only".

Peace and Happiness

When you feel happiness. Only when you have a mind without distractions or worries.
In other words, Peace is the cause and Happiness is the result.

But how to get a Mind that is free of sorrows and oscillations?

Definitely we have ways and means to achieve the much needed peace in Mind.
But easy to list rather than practice these routes. However, these are the time-tested measures handed down by Scholars and Saints.

1.  Have a Child- like mind.  Forget the past and indulge in the present
2.  Share that what you have. Distribute to others and enjoy the happiness of others.
3.  Remain unbiased and unaffected in all situations. Pain or pleasure, treat them equally.
4.  Appreciate the goodness in everything. Everything in the world has a purpose of its own.
5.  Realise the meaning of life to live together in harmony with all that surround you.

Cultivate Your Ability

It's crazy world .Many of us try to imitate others.

If your neighbour gets the latest Smart TV,  you scramble to get the same for your home also.

When the kids of your friend study in a good college, making all efforts to see your children also get admission in the same place.

If you friend buys a new jewellery, yearning to do the same thing.

Why not we understand the needs that are appropriate to us?
Why don't we realise what is our potential and make a difference out of it.

Each person has distinct and inherent skill.
The one who identifies and develops that innate ability is bound to shine in life.

This is the secret of all successful personalities.

Terminal Illness

A  disease or affliction which cannot be cured but the sufferings are unbearable, the condition is termed as Terminal Illness.  Very aged people also said to suffer this.

Naturally, the person affected by this TI will loose faith in his existence and will wish to die at the earliest by some means: either with medical assistance or self killing. But no law permits homicide and in fact, it punishes  the patient and the person who assists for such self killing.

Strange are the ways of Laws !

But we don't let animals suffer, so why humans?

People with TI are in great pain and distress and they should have the right to end their lives.

Both terminally ill persons and those who help them to die , should be free from prosecution.
